It is advisable to apply for your visa for Cambodia with a few weeks in advance in order to prevent potential delays in the application process. If you are planning to travel to Cambodia for business, you are required to apply for a business visa In order to obtain a valid visa, both tourist and business travelers are required to have a passport sized photo and a passport valid for more than six months. All visas have a duration of 30 days and are valid for a period of three months from the issue date. Both tourist and business visas offer the possibility of extending your permit up to one year. If you wish to extend your stay in Cambodia, you must visit the Immigration Department of the National Police.

A departure tax is charged on all domestic and international flights, and ranges from US$6 to US$25 depending on the type of flight.
